  • Did you know that Clubpenguin was originally set to release in 2010? You would have all the stuff that rare penguins today have!
  • The Beta Hat was made pink and yellow so that penguins in the future would find it un-appealing and not try so hard to obtain it. Guess that didn't work out!
  • Herbert P. Bear, Arch enemy of the EPF, was the cause for the popcorn bomb that destroyed the Sports Shop and the PSA. KABOOM.
  • The Game Hydro Hopper is based on a game made by Rocketsnail.com called 'Balistic Biscuit.' An Instant classic!
  • There were actually 3 different versions of Clubpenguin before Clubpenguin's official release. Experimental Penguins, Penguin Chat 2, and Penguin Chat 3. 
  • Penguin Chat 3 was the basic grounds on which Clubpenguin was built on.
  • On July 26th, 2010, Clubpenguin released Stamps. Stamps are little "Achievements" that can be earned by completing certain goals in Games. They are a lot of fun to collect!
  • Clubpenguin revolves around penguins because penguins are very "social" and friendly to each other when observed in the wild. Penguins are also very cute!
  • January 2013 was the first time Non-members could buy real clothes from the catalog. Up until then they would have to wait until parties to get any sort of clothes! (Other then the free gifted red hat you receive when you join.)
  • When the Plaza first opened, it had only 1 room! 18 days later, on March 17, 2006, the Pet Shop Opened! The Stage opened on November 16, 2007 and the Puffle Hotel Opened on March 21, 2013.

      Woops I mean it launched in 2005.But, Many penguin started pouring in after 2006!

    Here, is a fun fact about Club Penguin, Before Penguin chat two was over Happy77 joined Club Penguin.
    Here is another one.The Plaza used to only have TWO ROOMS but after 4-5 years Rory & Gary ( And rainbow puffles) built two new rooms! Bird Pingu, can you post this on here?

      I like the second fact. I looked into it and it turns out that the Plaza only had 1 room! The pet shop didn't open for another two and a half weeks! I didn't even know that! Thanks for Sharing!
